After graduating from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in public affairs journalism, I worked as a reporter for five small town newspapers in Ohio.
My passion for storytelling then led me to Alaska where I worked as an arts and education reporter on an island close to British Columbia, Canada.
Now, I'm able to do everything I love all in one place: Write, take photos and videos, and learn new things at Ohio University.
If living on an island in Alaska taught me anything, it was to place less value on material items and instead to fill my life with experiences, nature and art.
