During my time as a journalist, I had the honor of interviewing a world-renowned totem pole carver, the director of the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, a geologist from the U.S. Geological Survey, a chef from Hells Kitchen, dozens of amazingly talented local artists, musicians and creators, and lifelong Alaskans whose stories I'll never forget. I've been published locally and nationally, with several of my stories being circulated through the associated press.
